Holiday Tips for MYOB Acumatica 🎄

1. Check that the January 2026 financial period is OPEN for transacting before you go on leave: Finance > Processes | Manage Financial Periods. Find out how 
2. Broadcast staff messages via WFM.  Learn how
3. Add payslip messages or payslip comments to your staff payslips to communicate holiday-specific information. Learn how
4. Send mass emails to your contacts in MYOB Acumatica to advise them of changes to your operations over the Christmas period: Learn how
5. Check that you have added Public Holidays for the upcoming periods to MYOB WFM (for WFM) or your MYOB Acumatica Work Calendar (for ESS). 
6. Get the MYOB Acumatica Mobile App from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android) to review documents requiring your approval and enter expense claims on the go. 
7. Get the MYOB WFM (Advanced Team) Mobile App from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android) to view your roster, clock in and out of your shift, apply for leave, manage your availability, and view documents on the go.
8. Prepare your payroll in advance if you will be on leave when your pay falls due.  Learn how to process future-dated pays
9. Process Public Holidays not worked in WFM if you show PHNW separately or you have rostered staff. Learn how to add and process PHNW in WFM
10. Process Public Holidays not worked in ESS if you show PHNW separately. Learn how to add and process in MYOB Acumatica Payroll
11. When you're catching up after returning from leave, remember you can Default to a Specified Date to reduce the risk of entering the wrong date when posting multiple transactions on a future or past date. Learn more
12. If you need to correct a pay run after you return from leave, simply use the Adjust Pays process
13. Get ready for PayDay Super by ensuring that your employees have a unique and valid super fund member ID. MYOB Acumatica Payroll now validates on employee superannuation fund member IDs so ensure that yours are accurately recorded.  If you use duplicate placeholders (like UNKNOWN), the system will throw a duplicate error when you create a Super Batch. 15. Check Government Grants & Programs in your state to see if you're eligible.

Your 2026 Upgrade Deployment Date 🔼

Your next major upgrade of MYOB Acumatica is scheduled to occur on TBC - likely to be June 2026. All upgrades occur from approximately 10pm-4am NZT on your scheduled upgrade date. 

Check out the MYOB Acumatica Release Hub to find out what's new and what's next in MYOB Acumatica. MYOB Acumatica upgrades are scheduled twice a year as part of your subscription. Upgrades also offer new features and improved functionality, and they are necessary for compliance and security reasons.  

Admin users receive in-app upgrade messages 30 days before and 7 days after their upgrade.  Click here for how to manage your in-app notifications.

If you need to change your upgrade date (such as where your upgrade is scheduled on an evening when you will have an open pay), please Log a Service Request with BusinessHub to request a re-schedule as soon as possible.
